It’d be cool if after eight seasons, American Idol would have its first gay champion. But I’m still on the fence about Adam Lambert winning because he usually wows with his screeching. To me, that’s like a diva on crack going ballistic. But he’s good, don’t get me wrong. And I agree with a recent article that came out with Simon Cowell expressing he sees Anam and Danny Gokey landing in the final 2. So, “I dunno, dawg.” Adam’s better looking than Clay Aiken, that I do know, even with the colored hair and all that junk. And all that junk inside them skin-showing skimpy bikini(?). Does Adam like to kiss or what! Anyway, the American Idol pull has waned for me, just usually being interesting during auditions when people come out in droves for their five minutes. But when they’re getting their fifteens and twenties… I can only name maybe four or five American Idols from the top of my head- that makes me an AI idiot. But after this current season, I can probably add one or two or three more names I’m familiar with to my list. Still not enough, huh, still an AI idiot. :)
Top of my head: So there’s the first winner who sang A Moment Like This. I had to think about that so I would remember her name- Kelly Clarkson. Wow, she’s still here after eight years, that’s good. And I like that Breathe song from Jordin Sparks. And who could forget big-butts Barrino who starred in a Broadway musical too, right? And then there’s… um, Clay Aiken did not win, the big black guy did. Oh, I remember! Last year it was the two David’s who competed in the finals! And I think they’re coming to Manila soon. Is David Archuleta gay? If he is, then there’d be a track record for gays just placing second. The David Cook won last year. So I actually remember the names of four out of the seven winners! Yay, me! Not too bad, right?
